Debug Checklist
Use this checklist when reviews aren't working as expected.
1. GitHub Checks
- Is the Burg AI GitHub App installed?
- Is the repository in the allowed list?
- Can you see the app in repo Settings → GitHub Apps?
How to check: Go to github.com/settings/installations (personal) or github.com/organizations/YOUR_ORG/settings/installations (org)
2. Repository Config
- Is the repository showing in your Burg AI dashboard?
- Is the repository enabled (not disabled)?
- Are file exclusion patterns blocking all files?
How to check: Dashboard → Repositories → Find your repo
3. API Key Validity
- Do you have an API key configured?
- Is the key valid (not expired/revoked)?
- Does the key have sufficient credits?
How to check: Settings → API Keys → Check status indicator
4. Usage Limits
- Have you hit your daily limit (10 for Free)?
- Have you hit your monthly limit (100 for Free)?
- Is this the same commit SHA as a previous review?
How to check: Dashboard shows current usage
5. PR State
- Is the PR a draft? (Not reviewed by default)
- Was the PR just opened/updated?
- Is the PR from a fork? (May have different permissions)
6. Activity Logs
Check recent activity in the dashboard:
- Look for the PR in your activity list
- Check if there's an error message
- Note the timestamp and status
