Usage Tracking

What Counts as Usage

A "review" is counted when:

• A PR is opened or updated
• Burg AI processes the diff
• Comments are posted (or would be, if any issues found)

What Does NOT Count

The following do not count against limits:

• Failed reviews (API errors, invalid key)
• Skipped reviews (file limits, ignored patterns)
• Re-reviews of the same commit SHA (deduplicated)
• Viewing the dashboard
• Changing settings

When Usage Is Recorded

Usage is recorded after a review completes successfully.

If a review fails due to:

• BYOK errors
• Rate limits
• Server errors

...it does not count against your limit.

Viewing Your Usage

In the dashboard, you'll see:

• Today's usage — Reviews used today / daily limit
• Monthly usage — Reviews used this month / monthly limit
• Reset dates — When counters reset
