Repositories
When you install the Burg AI GitHub App:
- We receive a list of repositories you granted access to.
- Each repository is registered in our system.
- Reviews begin automatically on PR events.
Repo-Level Configuration
Each repository can have its own settings:

| Review mode | Full, critical-only, security-focused | Pro |
| File patterns | Ignore or include specific paths | Pro |
| Custom prompts | Add instructions for this repo | Pro |
Defaults vs Overrides
Settings follow this hierarchy:
User Defaults (your global settings)
↓
Repository Overrides (repo-specific)
↓
Effective Configuration (what's actually used)Free plan: Uses fixed global defaults for all repos.
Pro plan: Can override settings per repository.
Repository States
| State | Description |

| Active | Reviews run on PR events |
| Disabled | No reviews run |
| Pending | Waiting for first sync |
Adding New Repositories
To add a new repository:
- Go to your GitHub App installation settings
- Add the repository to the allowed list
- The repo will appear in your Burg AI dashboard automatically
