Repositories

When you install the Burg AI GitHub App:

  1. We receive a list of repositories you granted access to.
  2. Each repository is registered in our system.
  3. Reviews begin automatically on PR events.

Repo-Level Configuration

Each repository can have its own settings:

Defaults vs Overrides

Settings follow this hierarchy:

User Defaults (your global settings)

Repository Overrides (repo-specific)

Effective Configuration (what's actually used)

Free plan: Uses fixed global defaults for all repos.

Pro plan: Can override settings per repository.

Adding New Repositories

To add a new repository:

  1. Go to your GitHub App installation settings
  2. Add the repository to the allowed list
  3. The repo will appear in your Burg AI dashboard automatically
